Quail stuffed with buckwheat and bacon

Stunning quail!
Juicy, tender, fragrant! Buckwheat with bacon – a good combination.
Instead of quails, you can use a small chicken, the cooking time must be increased.

From the specified amount of ingredients, 6-7 servings are obtained.

  • 6-7 quails
  • 150 g buckwheat (boiled)
  • 200 g bacon
  • 100 g onions
  • 6-7 sprigs of thyme
  • salt
  • pepper


Finely chop the onion.

Set aside 6-7 strips of bacon.
Finely chop the rest.

Fry bacon.

Add onion.


Add buckwheat, salt, pepper, remove from heat.
Cool down.

Stuff the quails with buckwheat and bacon.

Secure with a toothpick.
Salt a little.

Quail wrap in strips of bacon.

Lay out the thyme leaves.

Place quails in a baking dish.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
