Pork stew with cabbage and apple

Simple but delicious dish.
The apple adds an interesting touch to the dish.
The specified amount of ingredients makes 8-10 servings.

  • 700 g pork
  • 700 g fresh cabbage
  • 200 g sauerkraut
  • 250 g apples (preferably sour)
  • 150 g onions
  • 1 tbsp cumin (optional)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil


Finely chop the onion.

Chop the cabbage.

Cut the pork into small pieces.

Fry the onion in vegetable oil.

Add pork.

Add fresh cabbage.

Add sauerkraut.

To cover with a lid.
Simmer for 40-45 minutes.

Core apples.
Cut into thin slices.

Add apples to pork and cabbage.

Add cumin.
Salt, pepper.
To cover with a lid.

Simmer for 20-25 minutes.
