Liver with potatoes baked in the oven

Delicious dish.
The liver turns out to be soft, tender.
Instead of small baking dishes, you can use one large.
The specified amount of ingredients makes 4-5 servings.

  • 500 g chicken liver (or beef)
  • 600 g potatoes
  • 150 g cheese (semi-hard or hard)
  • 150 g onions
  • 200 g carrots
  • 300 ml sour cream (10-25%)
  • vegetable oil
  • salt
  • pepper


Finely chop the onion.

Grate the carrots on a medium grater.

Cut the liver into small pieces.

Fry the onions in vegetable oil.

Add carrots.
Fry a little.

Add liver
Fry, stirring occasionally, for 2-3 minutes.

Add sour cream.

Salt, pepper.
Simmer for 5-7 minutes.

Cut the potatoes into cubes or sticks.

Fry potatoes in vegetable oil until tender.

Grate cheese on a medium grater.

Put half the liver in a baking dish.

Put all the potatoes on the liver.

Put the remaining liver on the potatoes.

Sprinkle with cheese.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
