Squid with mayonnaise

You can add a couple of boiled eggs to this salad, but we like it in this version.
The main thing is that the squids are fresh and not overcooked..
From the specified amount of ingredients, 5-7 servings are obtained.

  • 500 g squid (peeled)
  • 300 g onions
  • 2-3 bay leaves
  • ground black pepper
  • salt
  • mayonnaise


Bring the water to a boil.
Put bay leaf.
Add squid.
Boil for exactly 3 minutes (if you boil longer, the squids will become tough and tasteless).

Take out the finished squid.
Put the onion in hot squid water for 10-15 minutes (this is done so that the onion becomes soft and not bitter).

Cool the squids.
Cut into strips.

Cut the onion into half rings.

Mix squid and onion.
Salt, pepper.

Season with mayonnaise.

Enjoy your meal!
