Soup with canned fish

This recipe will help out when there is no time to cook, but you want soup.
If desired, you can add processed cheese at the end of cooking.
The amount of ingredients is indicated per 4 liter saucepan..

  • 3 jars (180 g each) of canned fish (pink salmon, saury, etc.)
  • 700 g potatoes
  • 200 g onions
  • 200 g carrots
  • 3-4 bay leaves
  • salt
  • pepper


Peel potatoes.
Cut into cubes or sticks.

Finely chop the onion.

Grate the carrots on a medium grater.

Mash the fish with a fork (do not drain the juice).

Put potatoes in boiling water.
Cook for 5 minutes.

Add onion.

Add carrots.
Cook for 5-7 minutes.
You can pre-fry onions and carrots.

Add bay leaf.
Spice up.

Add fish.
Cook until potatoes are tender.
Add salt if necessary.

Enjoy your meal!
