Cake “Monastic hut”

There are a great many recipes for this cake..
The cake turns out to be very tasty!
Tender dough, sour cherry, air cream.
Definitely try!
I used frozen cherries (pitted), thawed them and drained all the liquid.
From the specified amount, 6-8 servings are obtained.

  • 250 g sour cream (15-25%)
  • 150 g butter
  • 150 g sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 400-450 g flour (you may need a little more or less flour)


  • 300-400 g cherries


  • 500 g sour cream (15-25%)
  • 150 g sugar


  • 100 g chocolate (for sprinkling)


Cooking the dough.
Grind butter with sugar.

Add sour cream.


Add baking powder and flour.
Knead the dough.

Divide the dough into 10 equal koloboks.

Roll each kolobok into a strip of 25 × 7 cm.

Lay out the cherries.

Pinch the edges.

Line a baking sheet with baking paper or grease.
Lay out the tubes carefully (seam down).
I had 5 tubes on a baking sheet, baked in 2 passes.

Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.

Cooking cream.
Stir sour cream with sugar.

We collect the cake.
Lay out 4 straws.

Lubricate with cream.

Lay out 3 straws, brush with cream.

Lay out 2 straws, brush with cream.

Lay out 1 tube, brush with cream.
Refrigerate for 4-6 hours.
Sprinkle with grated chocolate before serving.
