Sauerkraut stewed with chicken fillet

Most often we cook a similar dish with fresh cabbage..
I suggest experimenting a little and try using sauerkraut.

From the specified amount of ingredients, 4-6 servings are obtained.

  • 500 g chicken fillet
  • 700 g sauerkraut
  • 3-4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 200 g onions
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil


Finely chop the onion.

Fillet cut into small pieces.

Fry the onions in a saucepan in vegetable oil.

Add fillet.
Fry for 10-15 minutes.

Add tomato paste.

Pour boiling water so that the water covers the fillet.

Add cabbage (if it is very sour, rinse it in cold water).
Pepper, salt if necessary.
Simmer until tender (about 30-40 minutes).

5 minutes before readiness, add garlic squeezed through the garlic press.
